Lindsay Colt

I’ve lived in Western Washington most of my life, I love the coffee culture and the outdoor beauty the Pacific Northwest offers. I met my husband, Morgan, back when we were at Thomas Jefferson High School in the Federal Way – Auburn area. After graduation, I attended Central Washington University in Ellensburg, my mother’s alma mater, before moving back home to Federal Way. I have five kids ranging in age from 5 to 20, so life is often busy. My house is always loud, energetic, and full of excitement.

Before joining this team, I worked at BECU for almost 10 years at both Federal Way locations. There, I gained valuable experience supporting members through everything from everyday account maintenance and financial questions to major projects and loan applications, also setting up business accounts, estate accounts, and IRAs. My favorite part of the job was thinking outside the box to find solutions for problems that didn’t have simple answers and often felt overwhelming to members. I understand that sharing your financial situation can feel very vulnerable, and I am honored to help. In the finance world, it can be hard to find people who don’t just put numbers in boxes, which is why I was so thrilled when Deborah brought me into the fold and welcomed me into a team that truly cares about the people they serve.

Outside of work, I am a PTA member and spent several years as a Booster Club board member at Federal Way Public Academy. I enjoy live theater and music, exploring new parks with my husband and kids, singing, spending time outdoors, swimming, traveling, and winding down by watching Gilmore Girls or Sweet Magnolias.
